Funding

IMVO is primarily funded by fees charged to marketing authorisation holders (MAHs) whose pack data is contained in the IMVO repository. The remainder of our funding comes from annual subscriptions paid by our member organisations. MAHs, wholesalers, hospitals and pharmacies have to pay the costs of their own internal changes, including packaging changes, scanners, upgrading software systems, etc.

IMVO’s income is used to cover operating costs for the IMVS, organisational costs and IMVO’s annual contribution to EMVO.
